This weekend Base22 will join HackMTY, the largest student hackathon in Mexico. The event, which will be held on August 24-25 at Tec de Monterrey, at the Monterrey Campus, invites students and recent graduates to work on industry challenges presented by companies such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Banorte, and Uber.
On average, more than 250 participants gather at this event to put their hacking skills to the test in a 24-hour marathon, working with cutting-edge technologies and creating innovative web development projects.
Our front-end developer Mike Rosales will be part of the judging panel. As part of the Base22 team, he has worked on the development team for accounts such as Pepsico Global. In the last three years, Base22 has participated in this event in Puebla and Monterrey, for both judging and mentoring.
Registration for the event is free, and prizes will be granted to the winners. For more information on HackMTY and guidelines to enter the contest, please visit their official website.
Base22 has a deep connection with the local student community, sharing our best practices and learnings around web development. This year we joined Tec de Monterrey with their summer program for Engineering and Computer Science students.
