Alma is a web application developer. She discovered that she enjoyed challenges and her interest in technology while studying at the University of Monterrey’s Technical School as System Analysis.

At college, she worked on different projects with a social impact such as an education platform for kids to keep a healthy lifestyle and a study focused on how user experience could help on the design of interfaces for citizens.

Professionally, she was a partner and developer on a start-up working on the whole process of design, development and delivery of customized solutions to clients.

Project Experience

At Base22, she has worked on projects such as KFC, MyOhio and Bunge portals.

Prior to joining Base22. Alma worked as full-stack developer at a logistics company developing internal web applications using technologies like ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework 6 and Kendo UI.

Her senior project consisted of the definition of an instrument that measures the user experience of urban digital interfaces. The project applied usability heuristics, personas definition, prototyping tools and user testing methodologies.
