We describe AI by what it does, because that is what you can check. It synthesizes research, drafts alt text, assists our engineers with code, helps run content operations, and answers questions from your own content — with a person reviewing the result before anything reaches the public.

Models are local or governed. Your data is not used to train anyone’s model, and every output keeps a record of what produced it and who approved it. In our document remediation work, self-hosted models draft alt text and a person approves every description.

The data underneath matters more than the model. Since 2015 we have built data tools for Honda Research Institute, including a graph data model for machine-learning research on sensor data (2015–2019): the kind of foundation that makes answers traceable.
