Andrea is a mobile/web developer who has recently changed to a BA role because she has been interested in the UX department for quite some time. She was not pretty convinced of studying this career path but ever since she saw what can be done in this line of work she fell for it.
At the university she had the opportunity to solve problems, improve processes and impact positively through analysis and technology. She was part of a multidisciplinary team working with animators to create an educational and lifestyle software for kids. She also worked on a project to improve the citizens experience when using public interfaces, creating a set of heuristics to take into account when creating/evaluating a public interface and developing an online tool for evaluation and more information.
She started alongside some other friends a startup, providing technological solutions to individuals and enterprises. She also performed there as a developer and treasurer.
Andrea just joined Base22 and has started working on the current WPS GHA project.
Before that, she was a junior full-stack developer helping in the development of a logistics and tracking software.
In her last semester at the university, her main project was about creating an online tool to evaluate some of the most used public interfaces in the city. This project encompassed mostly usability and technological topics, such as creating personas, screeners, journey maps, interviews, analyzing and proposing heuristics, developing the site, create content, UX expert’s meetings etc.
